We liked everything about Thorwood, was a very romantic and relaxing getaway. The house is so private, tucked in the woods, perfect for relaxing. I loved lying in the bath at night with the big windows, looking at the moon. Our host Nadia was incredible. You are also surrounded by walking trails perfect for bird watching. A lots of activities to do, if you prefer so.

We were greeted by the most pleasant housekeeper upon arrival. When we entered the home, it felt like we stepped into paradise. It is absolutely stunning, with attention to detail for the big things and little things that usually go unnoticed. It made our stay so comfortable, we were truly living in luxury for the weekend. The owner of the property also messaged us to check in and arrange activities for us if required. Waking up to animals walking around the backyard in the morning felt surreal. It was the most beautiful experience and we would love to visit again!

The property was excellent. It had plenty of room, was spotlessly clean and had everything that was needed. The views were superb Tand the housekeeping staff were friendly and engaging. There was plenty of wildlife to be seen on the property including monkeys and deer. The outdoor area was well designed and if the visit had been in the summer would have been used more.

Mudhouse Zululand in Hluhluwe provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a terrace and barbecue facilities. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay.
