Welcoming and helpful staff! Spacious, bright and comfortable. Peaceful and quiet area. Well appointed accommodations. Air conditioning and room fans. Nice outside verandah. Location was a little out of the way, but having said that it was very private, super tranquil. Myself and family were very comfortable and happy with our stay. Peter was very pleasant and helpful on our arrival.

Rudie and Heidi are so welcoming. We all felt there was nothing more they could do to make our stay, more better than it was. The house is beautiful and very comfortable.

We arrived back one night in the dark to find a towering giraffe blocking the driveway! Kuleni Park is a magical place filled with zebra and all sorts of antelope and duiker. No monkeys unfortunately. Tchagra house is expansive and comfortable with high ceilings and a long, spacious terrace. Both large bedrooms have equally roomy ensuites. A guest toilet is also available. Kuleni is a quick 15 or 20 minutes from the Big 5 within Hluhluwe's gates. No need to self cater either as a great local restaurant, Delissh, is open from morning to early evening just outside Kuleni Park's gates. We didn't use the pool but it's positioned maybe 25 metres away in front of a small chalet that is tucked away to the left of the main house and also available from the owners as a third bedroom. Security on the gate are very pleasant and Nancy the housekeeper was lovely. A perfect getaway!
