The quirky little nook underneath the house was a real treat. It's incredible value for money and in great location. If you're driving there, be prepared to navigate some of Gjirokaster's narrow, cobbled streets! The host was very friendly, helpful, quick to respond to queries, and so clearly proud of the traditional Gjirokaster house, which has been in his family for over 300 years old. 1800's may not be to everyone's liking, but I loved it, and I would stay again!

She brought us rice pourage which brought me back to my youth 🤗 The bed is super comfortable, the shower and WiFi are great. The apartment has everything and more than you can wish for as its awfully furnished house. The location was perfect for us. We enjoyed the road up to the center and it was easy to park the car infront of the apartment. As every location up till now has been challenging to find in Albania. For us we followed google maps and then drove up the hill until we saw a bruncht blue house on the left hand side.

We were a group of four and it was great being able to spread out in a giant two story house. Extremely good value. Host was very responsive and friendly.

We got hopelessly lost, a 3.5 hour journey took us 7.5 hours (don't trust google maps!!). But when we got close (with 2% left on my phone so couldn't call) a lovely man called for us and we were met. If you want exciting night life, this is not the place for you. If, like us, you want to relax, really kick back and enjoy being surrounded by mountains, and appreciate the amazing hospitality of Albanian people, then you will love it here. The local history is also fascinating. I'd go back tomorrow if I could. 💖
