Funky Family coastal retreat was the perfect weekend getaway for our family. Our daughters aged 5 and 3 loved the bunk beds (using the two bottom bunks), and the room was full of books, boardgames and polly pockets! We also couldn't pry them away from the arcade machine, and the back deck received beautiful afternoon sunlight. We enjoyed sitting out there in the sun with a cup of tea. The bathrooms was exceptional, the rennovation is simply stunning and we couldnt stop having showers because of how amazing that shower head was. The furniture in the house has been beautifully selected, you honestly wont want to leave. I can only imagine how perfect it would be in summer, but in winter with the heating system it was equally amazing. Oh and the house is located 2 mins from the best food places, we got takeout both nights and one of the shops even had vegan options for a member of our family. The penguin parade is only 15 min drive and go karts, which I highly recommend!

The place was family-friendly. My kids loved it, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches like extra towels and kitchen essentials.

The amenities in this property were above and beyond! A fully stocked rumpus room in the garage with a table tennis table, 2 player arcade games, board games, movies, and a foozeball table. Access to bikes, scooters, body boards, and the works. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked from appliances (expresso maker) to kitchen ware (cheese boards, whiskey ice, cups plates, etc.) and had a loaded pantry. The views were beyond exceptional, and the beach was a 5-minute walk from the house. It was situated in a quite suburb 5 minutes drive from supermarkets, cafes, and shops and the bridge to Philip Island. It served as a nice central hub to visit multiple locations. The house layout was great and featured a record player, more baord games, vintage chess set, and a telescope for star gazing. Despite only going as a couple, this would be a dream holiday getaway for a family - kids and adults alike would have plenty of entertainment. The property had seamless entry and exit, and the owner made staying thier easy and efficient with great communication. This is an absolute gem for the price of peanuts.
