Search cottages in Tatacoa Desert

I loved the design of the cabins specially the bathroom. All the cabin had mosquito nets protection, so bugs were not a problem You could hear the birds in the early morning. It is close to the road that leads into the desert, so it was calm. Walking distance from the main square. We arrived by ferry in the motorcycle, so they were so kind to give us instructions to move around without a guide.

Everything was spotless and well maintained. I stayed in one of the cabin made from recycled materials. In my opinion the pictures online don’t do justice to the room. It was simple but perfect. And the way it is built makes it super fresh at night. No need for the fan. I was very happy with the vegetarian food as it actually had plant based protein, which is rare in Colombia. The family host was so very kind.

We stopped in a cabin with walls made from recycled pop bottles in the middle of the desert! What's not to love? The family were friendly and helpful and as a vegetarian I had a choice of food to eat.

Charming and nice hotel in the dessert owned by a family. Place to absolutely relax, do nothing or do the tours to tatacoa dessert. The pool is super nice cause it was very hot. Amazing place to see the stars and sunsets.
