We got the unit on the second floor. It had 2 bedrooms. Super comfy 200cm width bed. Fully equipped kitchen though the kitchen is outdoors, might not fit everyone. For us it was great. Barely any mosquitoes even outdoors. Nice place to buy fruits 5 minutes walk and a big organic supermarket less than 10 minutes walk. The beach is very close to the flat, big waves but we built sand castles with our baby so it was fine. It was very relaxing stay in a peaceful environment. They even have a laundry machine and were very responsive to all our requests. Felt very secluded. 10 minutes walk from the Jaguar Rescue Center.

The best service I have ever experienced, our host Eric was there for us at any time, we were able to spot many animals on the property, including sloths, tucans, iguanas and green frogs. The breakfast was always prepared freshly for us when we sat down and the kitchen staff managed to surprise us every day. Every morning coffee was brought to our rooms before we woke up.

Their kindness definitely exceeded our expectations. The whole place is very well maintained, super clean. It's a great location almost at the beach, and walking distance to the centre of Cahuita and the Cahuita National Park. There was also an opportunity to rent bikes, free of charge, which was a great addition to our stay. We had a fantastic time staying at New Caribe Point. Definitely recommend! :)

There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. We enjoyed our stay at Los Delfines Lodge very much! Miguel and Marta are great hosts. They are extremely helpful, supported us, even washed and dried our cloth and drove us with their car. The house has a beautiful garden and a nice kitchen. We definitely recommend Los Delfines Lodge and would come again.

We spent 5 nights here and loved every moment! Your garden is the national park so be prepared for lots of animals sounds! We only cooked a small breakfast during our stay but had everything we needed and only a short walk to the town of cahuita. Our host Monica was so helpful with booking us on tours( book the night tour with Chris!!!) she was very prompt with answering any questions we had and lives close by, Thankyou Monica! It’s my 7th visit to Puerto Viejo, since I fell in love with this place, and this was far better than anything I rented here before. It’s just something else…I guess when the plants grow higher this will look as you were living in the jungle. But even now, when it’s new, you have that experience. The breakfast is exceptional, the staff is very friendly, the manager really knows his job. I’m not sure whether I most enjoyed the early mornings, when the jungle switches on and the howler monkeys wake you up, or the evenings, for the illumination of the resort is just another experience. I like a log…it’s beautiful, amazing and outstanding, really
