We got to stay in the upper unit where we could watch monkeys just a few meters away, the room ia very spacious as is the bathroom, mosquito nets everywhere, breakfast was delicious and the host is very lovely and helpful. 5min to the beach and they also have bicycles for use. Definitely recommend!

Very nice host, lives on property, available but not intrusive. Almost daily saw a dozen or more whiteface monkeys or howler monkeys in the trees by my cabana, along with 2 agoutis. Very scenic, peaceful, away from town noise but close to town and park.

This recently renovated villa is located 700 metres from Negra and 22 km from Jaguar Rescue Center. The locaton was perfect and the house itself was amazing! We stayed in the Gata room, the other two rooms looked just as amazing with two queen size beds which were very comfortable. The outside kitchen and pool area was tastfully decorated and fully equipped with everything you need if you want to prepare a large dinner or party. The pool was clean and water clear and perfect temperature. And the nature, wow! Woke up to howler monkeys every morning and the variety of birds was entertaining as well as other jungle animals, iguanas, etc.
