We liked how the owner placed old items through the house, even welcoming us through a typewriter. Beds are good and there is a lot of space in the apartment. Host is very attentive, we got detailed instructions prior to our arrival. There was even a small breakfast waiting for us. Recommended!

The hosts were very helpful and kind, including providing rides for us as taxis are difficult to find in the area. Very delicious breakfast on the terrace. Situata a San Lorenzo de Hortóns, a 30 km da Barcellona, la Masia Can Canyes & Spa offre un giardino e una piscina all'aperto. Sitges dista 26 km dalla struttura. It’s quiet and not that far from the city, a little over 30 minutes away from Barcelona center by car. If you are looking for something to do in a countryside, this is it. We availed spa and massage, dinner and breakfast, and everything was excellent. Even the room was fantastic. Spacious and clean. Our room was La Montserrat (double bed, garden view, bathtub, with sofa). They have farm animals, trampoline, toys for kids. They were growing vegetables (i think), plants, and flowers. Outdoor pool was freezing cold (of course, we went not peak season of winter), but we still dipped in the cold. Staff were ALL so friendly, helpful, and answers all your inquiries. Thank you, thank you!🩷 Food was amazing. Compliments to the chef. Dinner in an old cellar was a lovely touch, definitely the highlight of the evening. You could choose your dinner and should tell them in advance. This masia lodges few guests which means you can have the farmhouse all to yourselves, which we preferred. Quiet, stress-free, relaxing. Would be amazing if we went during summer or spring. We can always go back, though. Spa and massage — so relaxing! They have jacuzzi, sauna with vapor, sauna (normal/dry), and cold shower. For the massage, it was kinda light and gentle. We availed 30-min massage and feel like an hour and so relaxing, no one’s complaining. Complete toiletries. Gave us bathrobe and slippers for the spa. Ca L'Estamenya was one of the most amazing places we stayed for a European holiday. A true gem tucked away in the village Perafita which is beautifully located in the hilly countryside with plenty of walks and hikes, or bicycle routes. We are road cyclists and loved cycling there as the temperatures are milder than on the coast. You can also rent (e)mountainbikes in Ca L'Estamenya. But if you just want to relax, sleep, eat, swim in a breathtaking and tastefully designed place, this is where you want to be! Beneath the hotel/apartments is a bakery where you can have your morning coffee and breakfast if you like, and where you can buy local specialities. The ladies who work there are more than friendly and make you feel like family. As does the owner of Ca L'Estamenya, Elizabet, who makes sure you are having the best time ever and immediately invited us to join a yoga class and wine tasting where we were the only foreigners :) my Catalan improved rapidly! In the small and quaint village there is a small grocery syore, a butcher and two restaurants, so you really don't need to move around. But if you like exploring, that's an option too. We were very sad to leave and will definitely return, highly recommend!
