I had a few problems on my way and had to contact the host about being late; he was super kind and attentive. The facilities are out of this world – a beautiful old stone house, thoughtfully refurbished with modern touches. Breakfast was delicious and definitely worth it. I also had the chance to chat with Ana, the housekeeper, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. Truly a memorable and heartwarming stay!

The rooms are gorgeous and very spacious. The views of the Rio Minho are breathtaking and the staff is amazing. Gorgeous view of distant hills, nature and houses and it was equally as beautiful at night . This was my favorite place I stayed at in Galicia. The staff was very kind and accommodating. They took care of me and made sure I ate. The atmosphere was relaxing. Antonio the maintenance worker was super nice and helped me a lot, since I was on foot he took me to get food. Breakfast was fantastic. I believe in this town, you get a true feel for what rural Galicia is like and how friendly the locals are.

The view was absolutely amazing of the town and ocean. Sunset spectacular. Very comfortable rooms. Very clean. Well stocked cupboards with food items for making dinner. Balcony overlooking ocean. Washer and dryer was a bonus. Lots of new windows to open and lots of natural light.

Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Castiñal Beach is 1.9 km away. Great location! Could not ask for a nicer host! Very clean, comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Gorgeous, eclectic and quirky, 3 words I could use to describe O forno de Catuxa but they wouldn’t do it justice. Very original and beautifully thought out property and grounds. My room was delightful and luxurious in every way. The hosts were super obliging and very friendly, breakfast was lovely, would not hesitate to stay again.
