Our stay at this casa rural was truly exceptional. The property offered the perfect blend of tranquility and comfort, with impeccably clean accommodations and a fully-equipped kitchen that met all our needs. The romantic, secluded patio was a highlight—providing both a peaceful retreat for us and a safe space for our dog to enjoy. Maria José, our host, went above and beyond with her warm hospitality, generously sharing her time and local recommendations. Her homemade pastries at breakfast were simply delicious—a special touch that made each morning something to look forward to. The location is ideal, nestled in a charming town alongside a natural preserve bordering the River Duero. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the excellent hiking opportunities, while families will find plenty to enjoy. We were pleasantly surprised to discover fine dining options nearby, and the proximity to Toro—just a 15-minute drive away—makes this a perfectly positioned base for exploring the region (and its wines). Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful, authentic Spanish countryside experience with all the comforts of home.

La casa del Duero offre un alloggio nella città di Tordesillas e dispone di WiFi gratuito e vista sul giardino. We had the loveliest stay at Maria's casa! The ground-floor apartment is next to her home but with its own entrance, outdoor space, and is completely private. It was perfectly clean and had everything we could possibly need. The beautiful bathroom is extra large. The spacious bedroom has one queen-sized bed and one twin. (The children's items shown in the photos are kept in a closet and taken out by Maria if children are expected.) The apartment is on a quiet residential street across from the Duero River, located just steps away from everything Tordasillas has to offer - many cafes and restaurants, numerous interesting historic sites, painted murals throughout the town that reflect the regional culture and history, a lively main square, and an outdoor market on Tuesday. In addition to the town's offerings, we enjoyed an evening stroll along the river, complete with beautiful wildflowers and shady trees along the way. (My husband had knee replacement surgery 7 weeks before our visit, and the town was easily navigable for him.) While you're there, be sure to look up, especially at the church towers, to find stork nests. Our hostess Maria was such a delight and was eager to help in any way! All the townspeople we encountered were the same. Three ladies even walked us to the market when we were having trouble finding our way! We're looking forward to our next visit!

The house was big and the heat worked well. Parker right in front of the house, so unloading and loading was a breeze. Easy dealing with the owner and they met us at the door and showed us around. Shower worked really well with hot and strong water. Small washer worked well. Everything you would want or need at the house.
