Loved everything about this property. Authentic Georgian village. Very peaceful and serene. If you love nature then this is a place for you. The hosts are very welcoming. They serve the most amazing home made food. I wish we could have stayed longer. 100% recommend. Hopefully we can go back in the future.

Wij verbleven een nacht in Martvili Canyon Cottage en het was werkelijk een droom. De huisjes zijn charmant, net en goed onderhouden – een natuurlijke, warme uitstraling. Wat deze plek echt bijzonder maakt, is de adembenemende zwemplek direct voor de deur (zie foto!). Kristalhelder water, een beschutte ligging tussen de rotsen en bomen, en totale rust. Je zwemt hier letterlijk in een stukje ongerepte natuur. Ook het personeel verdient een dikke pluim. Ze zijn vriendelijk, behulpzaam en oprecht betrokken. Alles wat je vraagt wordt meteen geregeld met een glimlach. Als je wil ontsnappen aan de drukte, omringd wil worden door natuur, en wil genieten van een verfrissende duik – dan is dit de plek. Wij komen hier absoluut terug!

Book this wonderful cottage, blindfolded ! The host has provided everything one would want in a house and everything is brand new. Sweet gentleman who speaks broken English, but manages to get the message across. We dealt with him and his son, Beker, who can communicate a little better, to give you more information for the area. The location is fantastic, even if you're without a car, one just climbs a few steps on the hillside to get into the town. There was parking on the property for our car.

Of all the cottages we stayed in, this was the most spacious — featuring a large living area and roomy bedrooms that comfortably accommodate up to five people. The hosts were exceptionally helpful and responsive to any request. The cottage is brand new and fully equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay.

And the stars… what a show! When was the last time you saw the Milky Way with the naked eye? Here you’ll see millions of sparkling stars every night. By day, the mountain views are just as breathtaking — the kind that make you rethink what truly matters in life. Have you ever stood on a mountain and watched a cloud drift straight through you? Or breathed so deeply the fresh air made you feel dizzy, like a glass of fine wine? You’ll experience all that here. The cottage sits high on the mountain, about 600 meters from an authentic Svan village called Pari. It’s so secluded you can’t even see the village — just you, the mountain, and the views. The cottage is impressively spacious, with enough room for two families with kids, and fully equipped for a comfortable stay. The hosts also offer delicious home-cooked meals at very fair prices, made by a local grandmother. My wife literally had tears in her eyes when she tasted the homemade meat blintzes on our first day; she said it reminded her of her childhood home cooking. Outside, the yard is full of great spots: a shaded sitting area under a fruit tree, two hammocks, a swing perched on the cliff edge (perfect for photos), and a firepit to warm up on cool nights. A supermarket is just a 10-minute drive away for basic supplies.
