La casa è magnifica: spaziosa, confortevole, stanze grandi, letti comodi, tutti gli elettrodomestici possibili e immaginabili, tutto nuovissimo e funzionale, con una bella vista sulla Chora e sul mare, a due passi dal porto. Barbara da Atene, Angelina e la sua mamma sul posto sono state fantastiche, gentili, premurose, sempre pronte ad aiutare, il servizio di pulizia impeccabile. Non avremmo potuto trovare di meglio. Un'avvertenza: la casa non dà direttamente sulla strada, si parcheggia vicino e si percorrono un po' di scalini per raggiungerla, Angelina ci ha aiutato con il bagaglio pesante.

Situated at roughly the midpoint of the Hill which has the port area at the bottom and the castle at the top. On this level are the Windmills and it’s around these that most things (restaurants, shops, cocktail bars, parking, bus, etc) are situated. If you want the to stay in the more traditional winding and narrow streets this is not quite that and you’ll have to stay further up the hill closer to the Castle but that means facing that very steep hill regularly for no major benefit. All things considered i think this accommodation is in the best location in Chora. Positioned less than a 2 minute walk from the Windmills. The accommodation is exactly as pictured. Tastefully modernised. All amenities that are required are provided (fridge/freezer, oven, hob, coffee maker, washing machine, lots of electrical sockets, internet and good air con). The shower is fantastic. There a lovely seating area with a tv. The bed in the main bedroom is comfortable if slightly awkward in that one side is against the wall so you can’t get in/out on both sides. There was only two of us so the mezzanine bed was not used. There is a terrace at the front with a table and chairs and a small sun trap terrace to the rear with more seating and a clothes line to dry clothes. Just one warning in that there are a number of steps and stairs in the property so I would not recommend it (or the Chora in general really) for anyone with mobility issues. Not an issue for us but could be for some. Finally a word on the host. Anna was amazing. So friendly. She was waiting to greet us even though our arrival was quite delayed. She gave us loads of information about the Chora and the Island, left us a fruit basket, water in the fridge and a welcome drink. Even more than that we bumped into her later in our visit in the local ice cream shop and she got us both an ice cream. Fantastic.

A 300 metri da Spiaggia di Pera Gialos, Υδρία-Κατοικίες Hydria-Houses offre un giardino, e alloggi climatizzati provvisti di balcone e WiFi gratuito. C’è un parcheggio privato disponibile sul posto. Great location in walking distance from the port and Chora. We enjoyed the amazing view to the castle from the veranda-it is exactly as shown in the photos. Brand new, clean and spacious. Also the parking space was very convenient. The host was very polite and the overall service very professional. We will definitely stay in Ydria if we visit Astypalaia again.

Antonis the host was exceptional. He set the highest bar we have ever experienced as a host! He also has excellent staff who kept the room spotless. Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

Very conveniently located only a few steps up from the port. Mrs Maria met us at 4:45 in the morning to let us in after we arrived on the ferry. Very clean, two bedroom apartment with kitchen, bathroom and washing machine. Convenient entrance and exit, too.

Ottima posizione nella parte alta della Chora, appena fuori dalla confusione. Proprietario di casa gentilissimo, è venuto incontro ad ogni nostra esigenza. E poi c'è la cornice più bella, la spettacolare Astipalea...

An absolutely wonderful place to stay! The accommodation was very clean, beautifully decorated and well taken care of. The view was stunning and truly added to the relaxing atmosphere. The hosts were exceptional — incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Everything was perfect, and we would definitely love to come back. Highly recommended!

La casa si trova in una zona molto tranquilla e silenziosa, in una zona residenziale circondata da orti, a cinque minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia. Ben distribuita e ben organizzata, attrezzata e pulita. Letto comodo e cuscini diversi , che offrono la possibilità di scegliere il più adatto. Carolina è estremamente attenta, professionale e gentile.
