Just a 5–10 minutes walk along a narrow path to the San Pablo dock. The views are absolutely stunning, sunrise and volcanoes right from the cabin. I ended up extending my stay. Nicholas was super kind, helpful and responsive.

Loved the gorgeous view, and quiet neighbourhood that was only walking distance to kayak and SUP rentals, as well as Casa Del Mundo. The host was super helpful and the house keeper did his best to keep our stay comfortable.

Richard (the host) is the sweetest American guy. He cooked us delicious breakfast at whatever time we wanted and was always available to drive us back and forth to Santiago (closest town across the lake). The rooms are comfortable & cosy. You also have stunning views of 2 volcanoes from Richard’s deck, where you have breakfast.

The place is absolutely beautiful, and very special. We really enjoyed our time there, watching the sunset or having breakfast with the spectacular view. The home made soap/shampoo were a very nice touch. Jenny and Clemens are very gracious hosts and extremely responsive and helpful. The kitchen was comfortable to cook basic things in. This place is definitely worth the effort and was one of our favorite stays during our trip.

Traveling with my daughter in Guatemala and we both agree that staying at Lake Front Retreat at Los Elementos was a highlight of our vacation. The two bedroom accommodations provided plenty of room for two of us. The views from the porch are amazing and very relaxing. We also really enjoyed the town of Santa Cruz. We had wonderful food and everyone was very warm and welcoming. The owners and hosts of this property were great to work with and provided many great recommendations. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
