Our stay at Tropical Habitat was nothing less than amazing. The location is simply beautiful. The villa is gorgeously decorated, spotlessly clean and absolutely fabulous. Every staff member that we had an interaction with were very friendly, welcoming and attentive. The concierge service provided via WhatsApp was great and the owners made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Providing food for our late arrival, a driver to pick us up from the airport and helping arrange our trips around Amed. I have to mention that our driver throughout our stay in the villa was absolutely exceptional. Sam was friendly, attentive and very knowledgeable about Bali and the culture. It was lovely to have him show us around the area and amazing that he is local to the Villa. Please pass on a special thank you to him.

The best hotel we've ever stayed at! It's not a normal room, but a large, completely open hut beautifully decorated and with a small private pool overlooking the rice fields. At night, you can close the curtains around the hut, although some tiny frogs still manage to sneak in. However, the bed is protected by a large mosquito net. We didn't encounter any other invasive animals, neither mosquitoes. We had dinner at the hotel's restaurant, which was definitely one of the best Balinese restaurants we've tried. Breakfast is also plentiful and delicious, served directly in the room. The staff is extremely kind and very efficient. We had a private driver, so we had no trouble reaching the place. Highly recommended.

The villa has lots of rooms and the pool is massive and gets sun all day! Excellent place to unwind and relax. The staff here were excellent and even did our laundry for us which was much appreciated. Room service is available from their sister site and it's value for money too! There are lots of great restaurants about a 10 minute walk away and we also did the silver jewellery workshop which I'd recommend.

Even if we stayed only for a night, it was the highlight of the whole trip. Putra took us for a trek around the rice field and through the village and he explained to us so much about the life there and the culture. Staying with the family and seeing the people life in the village was really the best experience in Bali. Also, Putra and Ratna are great cooks, all the meals were yummy!
