Just know you are staying on the premises of an active farm a few minutes outside of Kilkenney, which we loved getting to see the sheep, goats, and cattle all around! Even friendly dogs too.

Hemma Grove - A Songbird haven, a property with a garden, is set in Kilkenny, 11 km from Kilkenny Castle, 13 km from Kilkenny Railway Station, as well as 19 km from Mount Juliet Golf Club. Beautiful, clean, spacious and relaxing. A warm welcome from Dee and Billy and of course Graham and Ted!

The host greeted us and was very friendly. The accommodation had everything you could need for the stay. It was cozy and we wish we could've stayed longer.

We liked the peace and quiet.The little extras [food wise] and the quick responce from the hostess to a problem not of her fault. She is a lovely friendly person. We would have no problem returning to this house and also recommend this house to any of our friends.

We loved EVERYTHING about our stay in O’Sullivan cottage , great communication from Helen & Sam . The cottage was spotless & had such a welcoming vibe. Lovely surprises when we arrived with milk, orange juice & cold beers in the fridge. Plenty of towels in each room. The games room was such a bonus with the pool table , dart board & bar stools other games if you had a rainy day or wanted to chill with a few drinks for the evening. Only 45 mins from Dunmore East , fab Mountain View Market on Sunday . And the perfect pint in Andy’s bar only 5 mins walk from cottage ( FYI this is a cash only bar & no ATM in the village) The back garden with an abundance of wild flowers & fruit tress was a super evening sun trap to sit out in. Helen & Sam have Done this cottage such justice restoring all the original features. The welcome booklet tells you all you need to know. We are already looking at when we can book another stay. Charming Country Homestead asub Kilkennys, Carrigleade golfiväljakust vaid 10 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on aiavaated, tasuta WiFi-ühendus ja tasuta eraparkla. Amazing location. 30 minutes from town but it's part of a farm. Cutest cottage with horses and sheep steps from the house. My bedroom (there 2) had a view of the sheep when I woke up. It has a nice little kitchen if you need. The owner is next door we talked for a while but she didn't want to "bother" us. She was so sweet. I'll try to post pics later. Thanks Marie!!

Comfortable and cosy stay in winter. We booked for a gathering of friends and we had a lovely stay. The period house is fantastic, it is full of character, has interesting features, spotlessly clean, warm and well equipped. It is large and accommodated us all very comfortably, every room is generously sized. It is in a quiet area, with lovely views across the countryside. The host met us and was warm and welcoming. Fresh flowers and a generous hamper of goodies in the well stocked kitchen. One of the best houses I have rented, exceeded expectations, can't wait to return.
