This is an exceptionally beautiful and comfortable country house and possibly one of the best Bed and breakfasts we have ever stayed in. Set in gorgeous countryside this early 19th century mansion has spacious rooms that look out over the Rollinghills towards the mountains. The breakfast is lovely but what makes it exceptional is the charming host who Makes you feel so at home. This is a place I’m keen to return to. I heartly recommend a stay here. You won’t regret stay at this wonderful house.
The location of the lodge is super easy. It’s set in a really scenic location with lovely little garden and very cool wooden statues around the building. The building itself is beautiful, especially if you like authentic historical buildings. The bar was very cozy. Staff were really good with our little girl and she enjoyed walks outside in the gardens. Breakfast was very generous and delicious with all the hot food and cold food options. Bedrooms were extremely comfortable and cozy.
The location is serene, perfect to relax and chill with friends and family. Well maintained cottages with all self catering amenities. Value for money.
I stayed here previously. The hosts were gracious and accommodating. The setting is spectacular and the location allows for day trips to many tourist sites and popular areas. It is quiet and a lovely cottage.
The hospitality was magnificent. We're already missing lady Nelson, the golden retriever. The Country House is situated idyllically. The rooms are speciaous and the beds are great. The linnen smell so good, that you dont want to leave. Breakfast is terrific. Thanks to the lady of the house! We love to come back, but for a longer time...
A beautiful and warm cottage in a typical Irish style. A very kind hostess who was always available and responded immediately to any message sent and very clear instructions. We were surprised by the decoration for St. St. Patrick's Day and gifts for children's. Fireplace was prepared, we felt right at home straight away. Great WiFi. Netflix also available on TV. Beds very comfy. Very quiet area at night. Lots of parking spaces. You have everything that you need. Our recommendation for experiencing Ireland.
Beautiful house, home-away-from-home feel. Owners were lovely, room was comfortable and spacious and perfect warmth. Serene spot in the countryside & with great self-service breakfast. There's even a whole living room for guests with recliners & a TV, fireplace and a beautiful bay window. Loved it.
We stayed in one of the lodges, beautiful setting. It's in a truly beautiful setting, with views over the Vale of Atherlow, plenty of walks in the surrounding area. The lodges are perfect for a self catering break.
