I have absolutely nothing bad to say about our stay in the Hengifoss lodge. It's a dream to stay here. Once entered you're greeted by the warm smell of ember caused by the wood that was used to make this house. The colours and the layout of the room is incredibly cosy. The fireplace keeps the house (almost too) warm, and the window + terrace give an exceptional view over the lake and mountains. The hosts are also amazing and gave us the feeling that we're not only welcome, but also that they really understand why we chose to go to Iceland. We asked for help with our fireplace and the host, Isabelle, came to the rescue. She tried to help us to lit a fire but to no avail. We did however have a really good conversation. However when she left, we were content enough. Yet still she knocked on the door and winked us to come over. She told us enthusiastically that the Northern Lights were dancing and fully visible, we had to come outside! The next morning it was kind of raining, a little bit. But the sun was also shining through the clouds. The husband, Steff, called me when I was standing on the terrace. He said: "There is a rainbow there!" and pointed towards slightly behind the house I was standing in front of. I walked to the side and indeed saw a beautiful rainbow. This might not say much to other people wanting to stay there. But to me it feels like these people have such a connection with Iceland, its beauty and understand that we are there for the same connection, they told us to look at beautiful views which Iceland offers, and we were delighted to follow their guidance. Thank you Isabelle and Steff, for the warm welcome. Whenever we're in Iceland and planning to go near Eggs, we will definitely make use of your beautiful little houses.

The holiday home offers mountain views, a children's playground, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Absolutely the best of all accomodations we've had during our Ring Road tour. The cottage was absolutely stunning and cozy, with all amenities a guest would need. The surrounding area was gorgeous and the hosts were extremely accommodating, even going as far as lending us duct tape to fix a pair of our boots.

The holiday home consists of 1 bedroom, a living room, a fully equipped kitchenette with an oven and a coffee machine, and 1 bathroom with a hot tub and a hair dryer. Towels and bed linen are offered in the holiday home. The property has an outdoor dining area. The host has been absolutely wonderful. Very helpful and proactive as the situation was uncertain because of the weather.

Skalanes Nature Heritage Centre is 19 km from Langahlid Cottages, while Egilsstadir town centre is 29 km away. Beautiful place! Jacuzzi with a great view. The house is very comfortable, has all the necessary things in the kitchen. The owners are very nice. I recommend!

Lovely views and the property is at the end of the street so very quiet. It has a wrap around decking and plenty of parking. The house is warm, the beds are comfortable, internet is fast, tv is large, and the kitchen has everything you need.

The house in the sleepy, remote village is one of the few accommodations in the area offering all amenities (including a washer and dryer) and the comfort of staying alone. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. Overall, the house possesses some continental European flair, which feels nice.

It was spotless, beautiful view, had everything we needed and more, and the hosts were very responsive.

Situated in Seyðisfjörður and only 4.1 km from Gufufoss, Botnahlid Villa, Mountain and Town views and outdoor Sauna features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. With mountain views, this accommodation provides a balcony. Outdoor seating is also available at the villa. Amazing location. Hilmir was an amazing host. We had some questions and he came within minutes to help us. Property's location is amazing and the drive to the property is even better. We enjoyed the sauna as well. We were travelling in a group of 7 including kids and each one of us wanted to stay for longer.

Each holiday home has wooden interiors and a bathroom with a shower, hairdryer and free toiletries. A sauna, hot tub and yoga mats are also available. Fabulous cabin. So well stocked ( yoga mat for me, coffee machine for husband). Everything has been thought of to ensure your comfort. Host came to greet us personally ( a first for me and I’ve booked many places like this) and came to check everything was fine a couple days into our trip. Sauna and hot tub amazing. No where can be more highly recommended.
