Kindest part of all was that the owner drive me into Ventimiglia in the morning (to change hotels as I ended up stranded in Ventimiglia for several days) because no taxi in Ventimiglia will accept a dog in their car 🤬. Pietro’s hospitality is warm and generous, and we enjoyed the fresh Focaccia and croissants delivered to the room each morning. We prefer to avoid touriststy crowds, so staying outside Cinque Terre and taking the train to Montoerossa to see Cinque Terre by boat for a day was perfect. We also drove to Cinque Terre on our way to Tuscany, parked above, and hiked into one of the towns. I can’t wait to return again! Thank you for your warm hospitality, Pietro!
