This is just one train stop from Aso station, so provides easy access to Mt. Aso and the surrounding area. The kitchen is fully equipped (cutlery, pans, condiments, etc) and there is a small grocery store nearby to buy ingredients. Rooms are large, and there is a kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a japanese - style bathroom. The piano in the living room was a great and unexpected bonus. We were passing through and only stayed one night, but it would have been a great base to explore the Aso area and we would have loved to stay for longer.

It was equipped with everything you could need! The kitchen was functional, WiFi worked perfectly and the washing machine was a plus! The beds were comfortable and we had some very good night sleep being surrounded just by nature. The staff is available if needed. The view of mount Aso is amazing. It's located in a little wood area surrounded by fields, 10 min drive from the nearest Onsen Town (recommend trying one of the public ones for sure!). We would love to stay here again!

Conveniently located, private off road parking and spacious. Well provided for as a self-serve apartment and the private onsen was a lovely boon!

Con vista sulla montagna, Soil prevede un giardino, una sala comune e un ristorante e si trova a circa 30 km da Egao Kenko Stadium Kumamoto. We drove by the cottage the first time and stopped about 100 meters ahead. Then we were approached by some local people, one of which was the owners mother. They were super friendly and she guided us to the correct location. There was a nice big spot to park our car directly in front of the cottage. We had diner at the table outside and enjoyed the night sky. From here you have great views of mount Aso and also the surrounding edges of the caldera. Great experience and one of our best rural stays in Japan. Thanks to the owner and his mother for their hospitality and kindness!

Arrived by car, so cannot say much about the location, but there is private, free parking and a grocery store is nearby. The check-in and check-out were very easy. The bungalow is amazing. Great furniture, very clean, and includes a full kitchen. Washing machine and dryer are also available. The toilet plays classical music. The bed was the most comfortable bed that we slept in while in Japan. A bit pricey, but absolutely amazing. Wish we had stayed longer.

We loved our stay here. The host took her time to explain everything and answered a lot of my questions. Very nice and responsive. The trees on the back patio invite a lot of birds so I got to watch them every morning. We rented a car, the cottage was easy to find and access. It's very comfortable, the air temp in the room, the furniture, the hot tub on the patio, the kitchenette. Although we mostly ate the already prepared food from the grocery stores.
