I loved everything about Edaala. From the gorgeous accommodations in a safe gated community that was centrally located, within walking distance or a short drive, to sites my friends and I came to see to the amazing staff. We loved our first stay so much we changed our overnight booking before departure to stay another night at Edaala. I cannot recommend this property enough. The owners communications from the moment we booked to the moment we departed was spot on. Thank you for being so gracious and accommodating to last minute changes in our schedule. I cannot wait to visit again.

Breakfast was delicious, too! We also loved that we could walk to Hemingways Eden for a meal or drink. Very close to popular attractions such as giraffe centre, elephant orphanage, and the Karen Blixen museum. Pumbaa is just as beautiful of a property for a fifth of the prices of similar accommodations in the area. It’s a no brainer - if you’re staying in Karen, book Pumbaa!

The cottage is very cosy, clean and comfortable, with a wonderful view of the beautiful garden. The location is very safe, and it was perfect since I attended a conference within a 10 min walking distance. Liz and her family are fantastic hosts; I even got sick during my time there, and Liz helped me a lot by taking me to the hospital and checking on me. They are very kind and make you feel at home.
