We had quite bad weather and we liked it…so it must be super magical in nice weather?? Thank you very much!

Very lovely place, somewhat outside center of Nuwara, but at the endpoint of the Pekoetrail. We did the last etappe of the trail and came back with a bus. Very nice views and relaxed walk. The owner is very friendly and can give you all the info you want. Breakfast was excellent. It's continental with Strawberry juice, cake or pancakes. They even did some home cooking for us the first evening (Khottu). Again, very tasteful. I recommend this place for its charme. You look out your window and see the plains! The next day, he brought us to the trainstation.

The staff were kind, friendly and helpful. Because there's very few rooms you feel as if you have the whole place to yourself. The food was amazing especially with the view from the dining area. Loved using the sauna as well.

Shirin1892 is a lovely homestay surrounded by idyllic mountains and tea plantations. It's located about a 15 minute walk from the centre of Nuwara Eliya and 10 minute walk to Gregory Lake. The host, Asela is so friendly, helpful and accomodating and told us lots of stories and history about Nuwara Eliya and his family home. Our room was very big and comfortable and we had thick blankets for the colder nights. The home was like stepping back in time and it was so interesting to see the contrast of architecture, decor etc to homes in the rest of Sri Lanka. Thanks again to Asela and his family for a wonderful stay 🙏🏼

A very cosy ,peacefull ,relaxing and a well looked after property . The staff was extremely good especially the chef who cooked an excellent dinner and some lovely homemade cookies Definitely a place to recommend 👍👍👍
