What truly made our stay unforgettable was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. Their genuine care and dedication to providing a top-notch experience reflected true Sri Lankan hospitality. Additionally, the view from the place was incredibly interesting. We were treated to vistas of mountains, paddy fields, and pristine natural environments. It truly felt like a natural and green heaven, offering a serene and calming atmosphere. Staying here felt like a form of meditation, enhancing the relaxation and rejuvenation of our vacation. This hotel was so wonderful !! First the place is particularly beautiful, the house has been made with a lot of taste and every detail is perfectly adjusted. (It's even better than the pictures). You are lost in the nature so this is a very good break to relax during the trip. Above all, the couple working there is amazing! They are kind and so helpful. Their food is delicious ! We booked the cooking demonstration and it was a really nice experience :) this hotel was from far the best of our 10 days trip !

Beautiful property, in the middle of nature and the tea plantation. The room was super large, with ceiling fan and mosquito net. Terence and the rest of the staff were really the highlight of our stay. They took such good care of us and treated us with such kindness, bringing us tea and fresh juices throughout the day. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner there for two days (always different), and this was really the best food we had in Sri Lanka. We could also fill up our water bottles at all time, which was very appreciated. Magnificent furniture, all from the colonial times, though it could be a bit cleaner (cushions and fabrics of the different sofas). The swimming pool was the perfect addition, after walking around in the hot weather. Finally, our visit to the tea factory was very interesting: we learnt a lot and were so happy to be able to buy their tea at the end, for a very decent price.
