During our short stay, we joined the Kotagaga Waterfall hike, took part in the Garden-to-Kitchen experience, relaxed by the beautiful infinity pool, enjoyed a cozy BBQ night, and ended with a delicious traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. The accommodation is comfortable, though quite basic — but honestly, that’s all you need to connect with the beauty of nature. All essential facilities are available: Wi-Fi, electricity, and hot water. The simplicity of the stay only makes the surrounding mountains feel even more special. If you’re looking for a place where you can slow down, breathe fresh air, and be close to nature, this is the perfect escape. Footnote: Remember to bring cash for your extra expenses.

The place at A Frame Riverston is really beautiful with hills, grasslands, and bushes all around. The weather was a bit cool, but the wind felt amazing. We could feel the breeze and enjoy the view. The area is very pretty and awesome. We had really good meals there, which made our stay even better. The food was delicious and added to the enjoyment of our trip. It was great to have such tasty meals while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Overall, our stay was very pleasant because of the lovely weather, stunning views, and delicious food. We would love to visit again in the future.

Really calming and beautiful environment. It was built in a totally different concept than other accommodations I stayed. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Has all the facilities tv,wifi kitchen and etc. I mostly like the concept and beautiful environment it was build on. And uncle and aunty who look after the place are really nice and i have great respect for their superb hospitality. They treated us like family unlike guests.

Most of all the wonderful staff including Terence, attentive manager and Jakati, the chef who prepared delicious meals every day and presented it with a wide cheerful smile. At first we didn’t really know what to expect since there weren’t many reviews on booking, but we were really enthusiastic about this place. The location is stunning, it’s in the middle of nature. I also really liked the people that were hosting. The food was amazing and they made a bonfire at dinner. The woman also took us on a really cool hike through the rice fields. It was an amazing experience all together.

The ambience felt cozy and inviting, like a true home away from home, with thoughtful decor that enhanced the warmth of the space. The service was exceptional; the staff was attentive and made us feel welcome, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. From the beautiful surroundings to the excellent upkeep, every detail was carefully attended to. Highly recommended for a peaceful family getaway
