We were fortunate to be the first guests at this property. Excellent location on the western side of the island. The bungalow is very luxurious, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully appointed - you can tell they considered every small detail. The hospitality was truly amazing!! Floryan and Emilie were wonderful and generous hosts who, beyond ensuring everything was meticulous and precise, also helped us settle in and gave us excellent recommendations for everything from area tours to places to buy souvenirs. We stayed 3 nights with breakfast and dinner included. The meals were delicious, varied, fresh, and very thoughtfully prepared. I highly recommend dining at the property. All products are fresh and local. The presentation itself is charming and the portions were generous and indulgent. The property has a stunning private beach, swimming pool, and since it's currently the only bungalow, there's plenty of peace and privacy. The location is very accessible to the town and for excursions. The bungalow is situated on beautiful, well-maintained private grounds with lots of fruit trees, and there's someone who takes care of cleaning and maintenance throughout the day (and night). I warmly recommend this place, especially for honeymooning couples or anyone who wants to stay at a high standard in a pastoral and pleasant setting. We had a magical experience!

This property, and the host Caroline, was exceptional. Almost nothing to find fault. We stayed for a week, and walked around the entire island - there isn't a better place to stay. The bungalow is large, with a full kitchen and a wonderful deck. Beds are extremely comfortable. It's sheltered from the wind. We had some health challenges, and Caroline went far above and beyond what would normally be expected from a host to do everything in her power to assist. If you're traveling to the island, and looking for an independent place to stay. This is your place.

Very friendly and helpful, makes such a difference to the overall holiday experience! The villa is very big and has a wonderful porch with chairs and table. Kitchen is well equipped, bathrooms have great walk-in showers! Beds big and comfy too. Huge tv! Just 30 seconds walking from the beach with beautiful palm trees!!! Lush vegetation around, such a relaxing and tranquil spot, would DEFINITELY go back. Villa has a generator that provides electricity if there is a power outage (which happens quite frequently on the entire island). Would recommend buying a local sim as wifi on the island is not great no matter where you stay. I bought TELMA for 15e and got 15GB of data-lastedmy entire 3 week stay in Madagascar ( I did not use youtube though!). Pro tip for wild beach lovers-when you get to the beach, go right and keep walking along the shore for around 20-30 mins until you see trees growing on black rocks-one of the most paradise-like places I've ever been to (and I visited 80+ countries), water colours, treest and palms are just SPECTACULAR. Bring water and snacks and enjoy your day on an empty beach! Ps. Sainte-Marie is very very safe!
