Air conditioning & wifi worked well, comfortable bed. Kitchen equipped with everything we needed. Nice shower too!

The views! We’ve traveled to 65 countries and never fell in love with a home so deeply like this one. The design, the warmth, the views of lake tekapo, the night sky, the cleanliness, convenience, area, ease of access. It’s huge! 3 bedrooms! We were four but it could have easily fit 8. The rooms were clean and at the level of a hotel. There were mini bags of laundry detergent, make up removing wipes - so many thoughtful little touches that the couple Jen & Hamish set out for their guests. We had NZ staple snack set aside for us upon arrival. Jen and Hamish are the best hosts ever, I actually met them and asked them if they would do another as we just loved the home. It gets booked out fast, so if in tekapo, I wouldn’t wait to book it.
