Unfortunately we only stayed here one night on our way to Wellington as I would dearly have loved to stay longer in this little gem of a property. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating, adding so many little extras which made it truly a wonderful place to stay. Situated in their garden, surrounded by nature, the property had a wonderfully comfy bed, great shower, good cooking facilities and lovely outside seating. We were offered a swim in the pool and use of the Bbq which unfortunately we didn't have time to try. I would totally recommend staying here and certainly would love to return

Featuring quiet street views, Durie Vale Retreat offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 47 km from RNZAF Base Ohakea. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the holiday home free of charge. The accommodation was excellent. The best in NZ so far. The owner was waiting for us even though we arrived very late. We didn't have to think about breakfast. There was everything. If someone wants to spend their vacation like in their own home, I recommend this accommodation.
