The house is a real gem hidden in the jungle, with big and extremely comfortable beds, a spacious kitchen with everything you need and a very pretty bathroom. The porch with the hammack is fantastic, we took our time to relax there and spot the howler monkeys having dinner in the trees right in front of us. It was amazing. I also took a yoga class with Jennifer, the host. If you are into yoga or just want to try it, do not miss out on it.

Hinter dem Haus hat es ein Sumpfgebiet von dem immer mal wieder eine Duftwelle kam. Wir hatten 2 Nächte und einen halben Tag Regen und das Dach war undicht. Leider genau über dem begehbaren Kleiderschrank, so dass all unsere Kleider nass waren. Das licht funktioniert auch nicht gleichzeitig im Schlafzimmer und Bad. Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass man bei Regen wirklich nichts an Aktivitäten machen kann. Der Gastgeber ist sehr Freundlich und hilfsbereit. Leider ist es, für das was es ist sehr teuer. Es ist kein Servic im Preis inbegriffen, das Wassertaxi kostet pro Weg von Bocas Town 85.- und die Touren sind auch exklusive. Dennoch ein toller Ort um (bei schönem Wetter) die Seele baumeln zu lassen.

I loved the sounds of the howler monkeys, the local song birds (and yes, the roosters too!) and the torrential rain that came one night.

We had one of the air conditioners break down when it was determined that is could not be repaired they had it replaced right away. It is only really needed in the evening and night time for comfort and sleeping. During the day open the doors and windows and the breeze is great. A very comfortable home and a great place to unwind.

We stayed for three days, brought our provisions from Bocas town to cook, and were cocooned in paradise. Snorkelled several times a day - rays, lionfish, batfish - but the most beautiful were the myriad small outcrops of coral, each with its own ecosystem. Went paddle boarding and kayaks were available. We absolutely loved our stay at Bahia Coral Lodge.
