The porch with the hammack is fantastic, we took our time to relax there and spot the howler monkeys having dinner in the trees right in front of us. It was amazing. I also took a yoga class with Jennifer, the host. If you are into yoga or just want to try it, do not miss out on it.

However, the place is good and close to the seaside.

We stayed for three days, brought our provisions from Bocas town to cook, and were cocooned in paradise. Snorkelled several times a day - rays, lionfish, batfish - but the most beautiful were the myriad small outcrops of coral, each with its own ecosystem. Went paddle boarding and kayaks were available. We absolutely loved our stay at Bahia Coral Lodge.

Walking into Urania House was like going to your parents’ or grandparents’ home. It was very homey and comfortable, and was well stocked with everything you might need. I think there must have been over a dozen wine glasses alone! There were towels, hangers, full size soap and liquid hand soap, toilet paper, a full kitchen of dishes, bowls, and platters, dish soap, use of the washer and dryer, etc. The dock area is beautiful. We didn’t get to use the kayaks because of the weather and our schedule, but I sure wanted to! Urania and Al were wonderful hosts. I can’t say enough good things about them. They were always available to us with a smile.
