Posada Casa Bonita bevindt zich in Puerto Maldonado en biedt een buitenzwembad, een gedeelde lounge en een bar. Great place to chill for a few days. All rooms are equpipped with fan and AC and private bathroom and fridge. Clean place all over. Theres a bar, a beautiful pool and the host is fantastic and very friendly. Even took us out to buy some food anf other stuff. Helped us with everything. This place wilk make you chill out. Its worth it. There is harldy anything bad we can mention.

CHOMI HOUSE TAMBOPATA bevindt zich in Puerto Maldonado en biedt accommodatie met een buitenzwembad, gratis WiFi, een tuin en een terras. Elmer and his family, the owners, are lovely. We really felt welcome and looked after like special guests. They own a basic but lovely log cabin with a pool on their property. We stayed there one night before doing our 3 days trip into the Amazon and it was perfect. They did provide local breakfast as part of the room fees and a lovely dinner at a reasonable price.

Quirquincho House Lodge bevindt zich in Puerto Maldonado met uitzicht op de tuin en heeft een restaurant, een gedeelde lounge, snackbar, tuin en terras. The property has two individual bungalows that are very spacious, with high ceilings, good bathroom and fly screens all around the windows. Nicolas is absolutely wonderful, very kind, very friendly and very respectful. He can organise daily tours, they were excellent. The tours were with small groups (less than 8 pax). Nicolas cooked very tasty meals. The property is located away from town, which means you have lovely nature around you, but Nicolas was very helpful in driving us to places we needed. The bungalows had a balcony, wifi and hot showers. The two dogs that live there are truly beautiful, we miss their cuddles already. Nicolas helped us find birds and a sloth nearby. There are squirrel monkeys nearby. The property is located near other resorts if you need a pool or river access. We enjoyed this property for its local community and wildlife, its excellent value for a small business. My only recommendation would be to have a tea/coffee making facilities available all day, and a large shower mat to catch excess water.

Passiflora Lodge Tambopata ligt in Puerto Maldonado en biedt gratis WiFi, een tuin, een restaurant en een bar. Alle units hebben een eigen badkamer met douche. Midden in de jungle, bereikbaar via een slechte, onverharde weg. Verwijderd van het stadse leven dus heerlijk tot rust komen. Professionele en bijzonder vriendelijke, attente medewerkers. Ontbijt was prima en ik heb ook, tegen betaling van een schappelijke prijs, gebruik gemaakt van diner en lunch. Tevens heb ik deelgenomen aan een zogeheten Ayahuasca ceremonie. De shamaan was Alberto met Vidal als support. Vidal excelleerde hierin door het geven van uitstekende informatie vooraf en tijdens de sessie met zijn support. Zo'n met zijn gasten begaande medewerker is goud waard.

Retiro Amazónico junto al río CASA PRIVADA bevindt zich in Puerto Maldonado. Deze accommodatie heeft een patio, gratis privéparkeren en gratis WiFi.
