While it is not in the center of Coimbra, it is only a short distance away (Euro 5 with Uber and less than 10 minutes) - and we liked being able to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Luis serves a wonderful breakfast with fruits and vegetables from his communal farm. And when you open that bottle of Rosé by the pool in the afternoon, life is just good.

Very well designed small apartment - very well equipped, very comfortable bed . Welcome basket of breads ,eggs, cheese and other tasty stuff was nice and very welcome surprise. It is very cozy place. Shared breakfast space where you can make your own breakfast, tea, coffee etc and chat to other guests. Onsite parking, and a gaggle of goats, pigs and chickens who welcome you. A roaming peacock was pretty spectacular. Perfect walking distance from Obidos walled town. Loved it!

The food and wine are excellent as are the hosts’ company should you be blessed to spend time with them. You will have the opportunity to learn more about wine (if interested) of which they are quite passionate. Their wine is of exceptional quality and we look forward to finding it upon our return home.

I like all - from meeting of kind owner, little, but important details in the bathroom, (like teeth brush of bamboo,), we could find all equipments in kitchen, supper breakfast, when even croissant🥐 and bread were warm. I like a lot friendly to health dishes 🫙( i mean bottles from glass to keep milk, jam and butter, i usually use just such, it was perfect!!! ), very good wine, i think it was from local grapes🍇, even virgin olive oil🫒, which owners gave to us to do food. I adored to stay in this cute rustic cottage , soo nice view from little yard to mountains, birds singing in mornings and it was so great to eat in the yard, to smell roses, to enjoy views of mountains, to see sunsets. The village was fantastic, some old houses were from stones too, around olives trees and we could hear romantic church bells. Nearby a village you can find very nice mountain river with stone bridge. Around silence of nature, soooo calm and fantastic, obrigado, superr, adore..It was really great my birthday journey to mountains. 💜💚
