The house itself was spotlessly clean. Jorge welcomed us and showed us the property. We had the whole house to ourselves, with a complete kitchen. We decided to have our dinners at the Quinta, which was a good choice as the roads are curvy for our American driving style. We brought our own charcuterie one night, and another night we were able to have our dinner prepared by the Quinta owners. It was a delicious Portuguese meal from appetizers through fish and vegetables, steak and potatoes, desserts and wine. Amazing. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool and walking the 2 mile rural lane with views all around. This is a special place, and we thank the family for sharing it with us!

The location was stunning, close drive to many restaurants, you can see the mountains from there. I am staying there again when in the valley. Breakfast was incredible and set us up for the day. Great train connection too from Porto.

Thoughtful, responsive, and accessible host Felip, met us at the apartment and greeted us with a smile, a tray of homemade wine, jam and port. Very appreciated! He recommended a wonderful restaurant where we had a superb meal (the roasted chicken and grilled steak) were delicious!

Breakfast foods were great and also coffee making facilities, we loved sitting by the pool admiring the view.
