It features an outdoor pool and an on-site restaurant. The location in a mountain village with views over Douro valley is amazing. We arrived by train to Pinhão station and took a taxi to the hotel. It’s 15 minutes drive with awesome views and it costs around 12€. You should definitely take the dinner prepared by the owner himself, it worths a gourmet restaurant’s menu with wine pairing. Even if it is not said, actually it includes the experience of tasting different kinds of wine from their own vineyard. As we informed Senhor Miguel earlier, the dinner menu was adapted to my parents’ alimentary restrictions. The hotel itself is in a renovated mansion like historical building, so full of charm. We will definitely come back and we will definitely order their great red wine that we can’t forget!

It is spectacular with the view and the surroundings. Very quiet and relaxing. The host was amazing and give the place a special vibe that make you feel at home and safe. This is the kind of place that you return to. We stayed in the villa and it was very well equipped with everything you could need.

We loved the reception by Mrs Julia, who was very kind and friendly. She gave us tips on restaurants nearby. We also enjoyed the wineyard at the bottom of the hotel and that we were allowed to walk around at any time. The place is very calm and quiet, perfect for a escape from the city hustle and bustle. Mr Jose was also of extreme kindness setting us up with a lovely boat tour through Douro on my bday. We had just asked where we could arrange for the tour and he went all the way calling the person and helping us organize. Breakfast was delicious and all the staff was really attentive. We highly recommend a stay with them!
