The house is beautifully located at the edge of a lake, offering breathtaking views. Upon arrival, Stefan had already heated the cabin for us, making it warm and cozy. As soon as we looked out the window, we were treated to an incredible northern lights show – an absolutely magical welcome! The next day, Stefan took us on an amazing trip to the mountains, where we saw a herd of moose up close. Later, we explored the frozen lake and surrounding forest on snowmobiles, which was such a thrilling adventure! In the evening, we relaxed in the wood-burning sauna, which was perfect after a day out in the cold. To top it off, we went for another snowmobile ride at night, which created an incredible and almost surreal atmosphere. Stefan is a fantastic host—very welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate about the area. He made sure we had the best experience possible. If you’re looking for a true Arctic adventure combined with comfort and stunning nature, Camp Caroli is the perfect place. Highly recommended!

Aurora River Camp Glass igloos & cabins nabízí ubytování s patiem a terasu. Vlakové nádraží Kiruna se nachází 19 km odtud. Our glass igloo stay here was excellent! The bed is very comfortable and the hosts gave us a warm welcome! Although the room is a bit small, it has all the essentials tightly packed in different areas of the room. They also helped us book several activities we were interested in, such as Snow mobiling, Aurora hunting night tour with barbecue, and Day trip to the nearby Abisko National Park. The breakfast spread was amazing and the bread, vegetables, cheese and meat served are fresh and delicious! On the 2 nights we stayed here, we were lucky enough to see beautiful 360 degree vies of the aurora from the frozen river just a few meters away. After seeing enough of the northern lights from outside the room, we could also cozy up inside the glass igloo and see the dancing aurora display straight from our bed! The property also is quite close to forests and on one of the stays we saw a few reindeers roaming around the property in the evening. The stay comes with complimentary pick up and drop off from/at Kiruna train station as part of our stay, and a 1-hour session in the sauna, which is quite a bonus.

Beautifull short hike from the house along the river to a stone beach on the lake. Close enough to train station to walk.

Pár minut jízdy autem je Kiruna i muzeum Nutti Sámi Siida, takže výborná lokalita.

Camp Caroli Mini lodge se nachází v destinaci Kiruna. Kiruna Bus Station se nachází 21 km daleko, Esrange Space Center 21 km a LKAB Visitor Centre 24 km. Lovely lodge in a stunning location. My hosts went out of their way to make sure I was happy. I’d go back in a heartbeat!

Perfect location to see the northern lights; we were able to see it right from the balcony. The apartment is well equipped and there's a supermarket nearby within walking distance. The water was cold due to heater issues when we arrived on a Saturday, and the hosts were very responsive and quickly get the issue partially resolved on the day itself, and fully resolved by the next day.

The hosts were super nice and the cabin was well appointed. Surroundings were peaceful and the cabin is not far from Kiruna.

Cosy cabin situated on the edge of the lake, it was clean, modern and exactly just the right distance from Kiruna centre, around 15mins drive. The bed was amazing, on a raised platform with a panoramic view of the Northern Lights before sleep. Communication was great throughout.
