There is also a seating area and a fireplace. Very well equipped and done up to more modern standard traditional shepherds' hut in the middle of the forest. Stunning surroundings, a fantastic place for nature lovers, but also for those who are not looking for an easy and luxurious holiday. On a cold day you need to light the fire, be mindful of electricity usage, and storms can be quite spectacular over there. Hut was very clean and had everything we needed to live there quite comfortably for a week (and even more - friendly owner greeted us with some homemade liqueur. :) also we found small election of books in English in the upstairs bedroom). Both stunning lakes of Bled and Bohijn within 30 minutes drive are certainly a bonus. We are eager to come back as soon as possible.

You could walk out your door and only have the beautiful valley you were in. The cabin, while small, fit my family of 5 nicely. The host graciously provided a bottle of wine from the region. Next time I return to the area, I will most definitely look for that cabin.
