There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. The holiday home features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. I can’t say enough good things about this gem of a place. The decor, attention to detail, and general vibe of the Karoo Moon House was incredible. It was a real shame we couldn’t stay longer - it would have been a perfect long weekend. We also really appreciated the little extras that were provided in the house. We would come back to Barrydale just to stay here!

The tents offer a spacious open plan lounge area, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining room area. There are 2 bedrooms, one of them with an extra single bunk bed. The tents are equipped with air conditioning, a fireplace and a private bathroom with a hot shower cabin, washbasin and flushing toilet. We are a family of five and we stayed for three nights in a beautiful, very spacious and clean tent at Africamps. We had a wonderful view on the little lake and enjoyed the sunset with a glass of wine. The ordered braai- and breakfast baskets were great and I would recommend doing this south african style barbecue. We also participated in a meerkat safari, which we loved.

Rosenhof has an on-site pub and several luxury lounges with fireplaces where guests can relax and admire works from well-known South African artists. We all enjoyed everything about Rosenhof. The attention to detail and attentiveness to guests is amazing. Cannot recommend this hotel enough.
