IrelandThis is simply the nicest place I have ever stayed and I travel a lot. It is a uniquely beautiful chambres d'hotes that shows france at its most French and at its best. Each room it decorated and furnished with genuine antiques but with excellent attention to every modern comfort. Our hostess was friendly, helpful and very generous. The views of Albi cathedral from the bedrooms are stunning. Some rooms up turret stairs add to the experience of a stay at this wonderful place. Excellent value too and breakfast around the big table was another lovely experience. Our stay in Albi was really enhanced by our overnight at chambres d'hote La Tour St Cecile.
