We arrived at this stunning property only a few days after the new owners, Jocelyn and Carl took over. They are a delightful couple and fantastic hosts who did everything to make our stay memorable. We were part of a family group of four couples and we were all impressed by the tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable rooms. Breakfast in the conservatory was lovely.

Little Court is a delightful Edwardian Country House with fabulous gardens, just 1 mile from the centre of historic Dorchester, and just 20 minutes from the World Heritage ‘Jurassic Coast’.

Pool was stunning and surrounding gardens were lovely. Great that there was tennis available also. Amanda was a lovely host, lovely room, easy to come and go. Great pub down the road (with a pavement) with lovely food and gardens.

Surrounded by beautiful Somerset countryside, The Haymaker Inn features its own skittle alley, free parking, and rooms with scenic hill views.

This was a marvellous stay! I am absolutely unable to fault them! Marvellous location, lovely quiet village. The pub itself is old and beautiful. The facilities are spot on, everything is clean. The beds are great. And as for the food - out of this world! We took our evening meal there on the day of arrival and the main course was very good. Then we came to the dessert - this was home made and so good that we all wished that we had room for a second helping. I would particularly recommend the bread and butter pudding with mincemeat - I wish that I could have sneaked a peek at the recipe! We'll just have to go back there the next time that we are in the U.K.! In other words, highly recommended and we have already marked it on our list of the best places to stay!

Kathy and Peter are elegant hosts. Me and my husband quite enjoyed staying in their lovely house. We stayed in the Silver Room for two nights and it was a comfortable and relaxing holiday for us. I strongly recommend Birch House to stay for a nice summer holiday.

I had an overnight stay (weekend). The location is ideal. It's in the town centre wherein accessible to restaurants, shops, cinema, pubs, gym, etc.😀. The room is superb and spacious. I love the bed and furnitures. The toilet is clean with toiletries. They have menu available if you need food. Free WiFi and has cable TV. And most of all the owner(?) is very welcoming and accommodating.
