Superb location - very central, yet providing the necessary privacy and 'own space'. Never met the hosts, but communication was excellent throughout the booking process. There are plenty of free parking options within a walking distance. Amazing number of bars and restaurants right on the doorstep. I will return for sure - for a special 'city break' mini-holiday within a bigger beach holiday. I think this property is a total gem!

Beautiful old building overlooking the old harbour area. Perfectly restored and maintained to preserve the history while being comfortable for the modern user. Very impressed that the hotel group leases the building from a private family who still own it. Great breakfast options. Eva was very freindly, helpful and flexible for late check-in. I hope to go again for longer!

We can´t recommend Cretan Dream Resort and Spa highly enough. We have stayed in many 4 and 5 stars hotels all over the world and this is our best experience! The manager and all of the staff are the most precious gems of the hotel. They did absolutely everything for us! You feel like you are staying with a big Cretan family and they treat you royal. You truly feel that they do care about you, your wellbeeing and how your stay is. Even though we were demanding and difficult guests at times they handled it very professionally and kindly. We are very thankful for that. The food is very good, paired with excellent wines, the pool area is fabulous with great views over the ocean, relaxing and not crowded. In the beautiful spa area we got the best massage ever so we highly recommend having treatments there. In the evenings they sometimes have theme dinners and shows that are fun. We give this hotel six stars of five possible or ten out of ten :). We hope to come back soon and will recommend it to eveyone travelling to Crete. Best wishes and thanks to all of you from Kristbjörg, Eyrún and Aðalheiður.
