The room was clean, spacious, and cosy, with a balcony facing the old wall, offering a unique and charming view. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of variety and great quality. The staff were kind, attentive, and very helpful throughout our stay. I would gladly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.

The hotel was located just outside the walled city with easy access through a pedestrian gate just steps away from the front entrance. Parking was a bit of a challenge (narrow streets), but the staff on check in were most helpful and it was sorted out in no time. The hotel is decorated as a medieval manor house with antiques, swords and armour scattered throughout. Check in was a breeze, but we were surprised at the size of the key. Getting to the room was simple and once there - the size of the key made sense. Opening the door took a moment as you had to unlock the door and then use a handle to lift and interior latch (it took a moment or two). Once inside, there is a plastic insert included with the key that must be inserted into a slot near the door to allow the lights, etc. to work. The room was small, but clean and cozy with a view to a grassed - terraced. The bathroom was to die for - lots of space and a bathtub large enough that I thought I could do laps in. Restaurants were mere steps away and the front desk staff were very helpful with suggestions. An unexpected treat was the common area with a large fireplace, comfortable seating and an honour bar with a wide variety of choices (you noted what you drank on a chit and provided it to the staff to be added to your room). It was a treat to enjoy a glass of port (or three) after dinner and a walk around the town. Room was quiet and the bed comfortable. Breakfast the next day was excellent with hot and cold choices, great coffee and some exceptional (according to my spouse) breakfast cakes. All in all, highly recommended during your stay in Obidos.

Wonderful establishment, with stunning rooms and overall ambiance. Great breakfast. Majority of the staff is extremely nice (especially the reception team). Restaurant is good with a solid menu. All in all one of the best stays we have experienced. Next time we are in Portugal we will definitely try to include this in our itinerary again.

Beautiful place, very well equipped villa, calm&relaxing, large territory of resort with areas for kids, football/basketball playgrounds, large swimming pool in common area. Very nice and helpful staff. Thanks to comfort, cleanliness, beauty of the villa and adjacent area we spent perfect time there.

The location is a challenging drive up through the Serra de Monte Junto mountain villages, many roads I had not driven before. Upon arrival, we were met very graciously by the host. The room accommodation was nicely laid out. The water for bathing is nice and hot, something that is not always found in Portugal. The bathtub is a nice deep soaker, however, as an older person, I found it difficult to get out of the tub. The communal dining area is an exceptional Portuguese layout. The grounds have been manicured for a very relaxing atmosphere. Unfortunately, I had come down with a fever at this point in my travels, and I was unable to appreciate the accommodations to their fullest.
