Absolutely wonderful stay at Saltbush. We were greeted by a lovely, friendly man (his name escapes me) who gave us a great recommendation for a butcher so we could get some steaks for dinner. The entire place is cozy and rustic. We didn’t use the baths but they looked so cool! Rooms were spacious, our cabin looked out onto some grass with kangaroos grazing, which was a delight for our 9 month old. It had everything we needed, including wine glasses, I only wish we’d bought a bottle from them! Highly recommend, we had a lovely little stay :)

Debbie's Place is 150 meters from the Great Sandy National Park and 500 meters from Rainbow Beach. Debbie's is a great spot for a couple's getaway prior to or returning from your K'gari adventures. Near stores and places to eat or buy groceries. This is a beautiful, clean, quiet place to stay with amazing hosts.

The 4-star By The Sea Resort is located in the centre of Port Douglas, next to Four Mile Beach and just a 2-minute walk from the restaurants along Macrossan Street. Amazing location with the absolutely nicest staff. So many things to borrow - basically everything you need in towels, beach chairs and even bikes!

Featuring a private saltwater lagoon, sandy beaches and an artificial reef with tropical fish, the 28-storey JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa is set in the heart of Surfers Paradise. The Ocean-view room was great and also gives a good view of a parts of the Hinterland. The room and bathroom is nice, bright and spacious. We had a very comfortable stay and slept very well. Room temperature can be controlled well via the touch panel. It was nice to swim in the long pool and dip into the sea-water pool down to 4 meters where we could spot some fish.

Offering an outdoor pool and a fitness centre, Empire Apartment Hotel Rockhampton is positioned along the Fitzroy River. Guests enjoy an on-site restaurant, free WiFi and private parking. It was fantastic experience to stay here. There was a spacious room, friendly staff, good river view and an excellent location.
