Hotel Kandilj ligt in het hart van de bazaar Baščaršija in het oudste deel van Sarajevo. Het combineert een traditionele Bosnische sfeer met modern comfort. Er is gratis WiFi beschikbaar. Mooie traditionele kamers, lekker ontbijt en zeer vriendelijk personeel. De locatie was top! Het lag op loopafstand van het centrum zonder dat je last hebt van de drukte van het centrum. Er is bij het hotel ook een binnenplaats met een prachtige oude rozenstruik waar je rustig kunt gaan zitten. Het personeel had goede aanbevelingen voor restaurants en activiteiten en ze doen echt goed hun best voor je. Op de laatste dag had ik de vraag waar ik een postzegel voor een postkaart kon vinden en toen hebben ze aangeboden om het kaartje voor mij te posten! Echt top service!

Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by exceptionally kind young men at the reception, which immediately made me feel at home. The room was tidy, elegant, and very clean, with a stunning view of the city. The breakfast was excellent and varied, with plenty of options for every guest. The only regret I have is not booking a longer stay. I will definitely return to this hotel. Highly recommended!

I really appreciated the free parking provided by the hosts. This was a huge benefit, as I did not want to worry about parking in the busy city center. Overall, my experience at the Modern City Apartments was outstanding. Kanita and Admir were gracious and welcoming hosts, and the apartment exceeded my expectations in every way possible. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and stylish place to stay in Sarajevo.
