My family and I came to participate in the Big Effort Swim event at Christina Lake. Because of a flight delay, we arrived late, but the staff kindly arranged a self-check-in for us. The motel is very clean. Groceries as well as small local eateries are within walking distance. There is also a barbecue area and a firepit in the yard, which made for a lovely place to sit in the evenings.

Absolutely spotless and Sharie was so lovely, she made a lovely healthy breakfast and really just puts so much effort into making sure you're comfortable and happy 😊 Location is easy to get into downtown (5 min drive) but you're on a nice quiet suburban street. Plenty of parking spots too

We were warmly greeted by Peter who very kindly upgraded us to the best suite in the Seine Boat Inn with views directly over Alert Bay. Later that evening, we saw a humpback whale just in front of our porch! Pure magic!
