Hotel Spalentor is located opposite the Botanic Gardens, a 5-minute walk from the Old Town of Basel and the University, and offers free bicycles, free WiFi, a fitness area and a quiet garden with a... Great location, easy to arrive from the train station, even by foot. Also from the hotel you can easily get to the city center by foot or nr.3 tram. The room was spacious with everything that you need. The beds are large and very comfortable, the staff was very nice and helpful. At the hotel you also have a fusball table, billiards and a gym which is quite in handy if you are coming here with friends and want to have some fun inside. Overall we loved staying here and we are certain what we will return to Basel and at this hotel.

Nově postavený designový hotel The Passage v centru Basileje nabízí saunu, fitness centrum, bezplatné Wi-Fi a klimatizované pokoje. Vlakové nádraží Basilej SBB je vzdáleno 850 metrů. Velice vstřícná a ochotná recepční po celou dobu pobytu. Vše nám podrobně vysvětlila, odpovídala na naše otázky. Skvělé snídaně !!!!!

The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available. The property is located very centrally with easy access to trams that are connected well to the main station and popular tourist sites. Though centrally located and on the main road it’s still a very quiet area. They had also sent very precise directions to us to reach the hotel on arrival from the airport. It’s definitely value for money. The front desk lady was very helpful and guided us whenever required with a smile.

Velmi čistý hotel s příjemným personálem. Je tu možnost nechat si uschovat zavazadla před check in i po check out. Basel card pro hosty zahrnuje nejen dopravu po Basileji zadrma, ale i slevy do muzea. Celkově velká spokojenost a velmi doporučuji! :)

Hostel Basel Backpack sídlí ve zrekonstruované historické továrně, pouhých 10 minut od hlavního vlakového nádraží v Basileji. I recently stayed at Basel Backpack Hostel, and overall, it was a great experience. The hostel is well-located, with easy access to public transport and the city center. The staff was friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out smooth. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the shared areas, including the kitchen and lounge, were well-maintained and provided a nice space to relax. One of the highlights was the free Basel Card, which made getting around the city much easier. The Wi-Fi connection was also reliable and fast, which was a big plus. The atmosphere was relatively quiet, which might not suit those looking for a more social experience. However, if you're looking for an affordable and convenient place to stay in Basel, Basel Backpack is a solid choice. Would recommend for budget travelers!

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. Excelent lacation. Easy access to city center. The staff was very professional but also make us fill welcome. Very clean and large rooms.

Hotel Schweizerhof enjoys a preferred location in the centre of Basel, next to the SBB train station and is easily accessible by car and public transport. Local phone calls are free. This is my third time in this hotel. Always so agreeable!!!!

Situated in a historic building in central Basel, Euler Hotel is opposite the SBB Train Station. Guests receive a Mobility Ticket, granting free access to all means of public transport. Maintaining an atmosphere of the good-old-day hotel. I was welcomed by a live piano music at the hotel entrance. Staff are very kind and helpful. Breakfast was good. It is so close to the central station.

The Hotel Krafft Basel and restaurant can be found in the heart of the city, right on the bank of the Rhine river with its Mediterranean-style promenade. What was not to like. Excellent location on the banks of the Rhein. Great communication beforehand, which made getting to the hotel to from the airport very easy. Staff were all super friendly and couldn't help enough with any issues or questions. Room clean, tidy, comfortable and more than adequate. Breakfast to die for 😍 everything from cereals, fruits, juices, breads, cold meats, cheeses, sausages, hummus, salad, eggs (fantastic egg scrambling machine) and even make your own waffles. Basel was a beautiful city. Interesting to see, everyone very friendly. Eating out was great too. Would thoroughly recommend a trip to Basel and definitely stay at the Krafft Basel Hotel. You will not be disappointed.
