The Passage in Basel werd in 2014 gebouwd. Dit designhotel ligt op een centrale locatie en biedt een sauna, een fitnesscentrum, gratis WiFi en kamers met airconditioning. The staff was very helpful overall, and the Basel Card we received was a big plus. The hotel is very close to the city center and not far from the railway station.

The Hotel Alexander is located right at the Messe Basel fairgrounds and the Congress Centre, a 7-minute ride from the centre of Basel. The tram stop is right outside. Free Wi-Fi is available. Located in the center of Basel, with very clean and modern rooms, a nice staf, an underground garage and a rich breakfast is the best location to spend few days in Basel if you want a real value of money. If I will return in Basel I will definitely choose Alexander hotel again.

Basel Backpack is gehuisvest in een gerenoveerde historische fabriek, op slechts 10 minuten van het centraal station van Basel. The people at the reception are very nice and helpful. The bathroom was clean even if it is shared. The beds were comfy and clean.

I rarely give the highest rating, but this place deserves it as it was really comfortable. The room was well equipped and clean (big plus for two kinds of pillows where you can actually feel the difference), breakfast buffet was fresh and tasty, and staff very kind and helpful. I also enjoyed the current art collection displayed, great initiative.

The Central City Hotel Rochat is housed in a historic, listed building in the old town of Basel. Location was perfect. Large room, fantastic bathroom, great brunch. Staff was very friendly.

The family-run GAIA Hotel Basel can be found right across from Basel Main Train Station, only a 10-minute walk from the historic city centre. I really enjoyed this hotel. The staff are very nice and welcoming. The rooms are very nice and is a 15 min walk to the center

Hotel Schweizerhof enjoys a preferred location in the centre of Basel, next to the SBB train station and is easily accessible by car and public transport. Local phone calls are free. Prettige ontvangst, kamer, ontbijt. Fijn dat we een kamer met walk-in shower konden krijgen. Wij kozen voor een rustige kamer, geen geluidje gehoord. De volgende ochtend weer op met de trein naar Italie!
