Location is absolutely beautiful, staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served with a lot of good food and drinks. Christmas decorations are amazing. Bar is great with live music.

Right on the shore of Lake Lugano, this family-run 4-star hotel offers restaurants, free WiFi, and a south-facing outdoor pool with direct lake access. The centre of Lugano is a 10-minute walk away. The room was a decent size, clean, with enough storage, a safe, a professional Nespresso coffee machine and the bed and pillows were confortable. A balcony with a ashtray and a beautiful view. The hotel has a pool and a lake access, perfect for summer and the view from the pool was amazing. I’m not a fan of buffet breakfasts but, between the Gorgonzola, the dispensers of farmers honey, the fresh orange juice machine, the fresh bread and pastries, all sorts of teas, eggs, cereals, nuts, etc and the different types of coffee you can order, this one is devine! The staff was very welcoming and friendly.

The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. Every thing. From staff to location to clean place it was very good. If I ever go back to Lugano I will go back there again

The family-run Continental Parkhotel is located 200 metres south of the main railway station of Lugano, where the funicular leaves regularly for the city centre. Easy access to city centre. Great pool. The staff were attentive and helpful, especially Cristian Tiozzo and Florida.

Situated on the lake promenade near the traffic-free centre of Lugano, Hotel Walter Au Lac offers you rooms with superb lake views. WiFi is free of charge. All air-conditioned rooms are renovated. Super convenient location and great room with view of the lake. I think I had booked this but was upgraded to a larger room, with a balcony toward the lake. All the staff I met were so nice!

Built in 1914 and located 850 meters above sea level, Kurhaus Cademario- Adults Only has massage, relaxation and steam rooms. Skoro všechno nemám k ničemu vyhrady.

Hezká stylová historická vila na břehu jezera v menší vesničce. Pokoj měl balkon a krásný výhled na jezero. Doporučuji pro cestující hledající klid a pohodu. Ti určitě ocení i molo na břehu jezeru s lehátky a zahradu před vilou s restaurací.

Located 800 metres from the Lugano Exhibition Centre and 1 km from the lake, Hotel City Lugano is a modern, non-smoking building with stylish and air-conditioned rooms. Very modern hotel, own parking, 10-12 min. walk from lake front and mid Lugano. Very good breakfast too, internet good.
