Het Continental Parkhotel wordt door een familie beheerd en ligt 200 meter ten zuiden van het centraal station van Lugano. Daarvandaan vertrekt regelmatig de kabelbaan naar het stadscentrum. The old building itself, its history and decor made it my favorite immediately. The rooms were very clean and the bed very comfortable. Staff were very helpful too.

Hotel Stella d'Italia ligt aan de oevers van het prachtige meer Lugano. Alle kamers zijn voorzien van een balkon of terras met prachtig uitzicht op het meer. The location was good, with this road from Lugano to the hotel: what a pleasure to drive until there. The room was good, in a vintage style, with a large bathroom and a beautiful view on the lake. The balcony is a real plus for this room.
