Hotel Tamaro is gevestigd in een patriciërswoning uit de 18de eeuw. Het ligt aan de oevers van het Lago Maggiore in het centrum van Ascona. Exceptional views straight to Lago Maggiore. Our room was spacious and comfy and the balcony big enough to enjoy the view with a cup of coffee. The staff very friendly and the breakfast very rich and delicious. Also here you could choose to eat inside or outside, on the lake shore, absolutely amazing! It is 5 min walk from the bus stop and in the city centre so walking distance to practically everything. The port is not even 50 m away. Would recommend it!

The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. Despite being a hostel near the train station, it was very nice and quiet. The staff was very nice and helpful. They will provide lockers, vending machines, coffee machine and plenty of space in the fridge as well as facilities to make your own food. And the location is amazing only 5min from train station.

Het Continental Parkhotel wordt door een familie beheerd en ligt 200 meter ten zuiden van het centraal station van Lugano. Daarvandaan vertrekt regelmatig de kabelbaan naar het stadscentrum. Clean room with a lovely view. Relaxing pool area with a wonderful garden attached. Friendly staff and a tasty breakfast. Overall a great atmosphere in the hotel in a very good and accesible location.

Situated on the lake promenade near the traffic-free centre of Lugano, Hotel Walter Au Lac offers you rooms with superb lake views. WiFi is free of charge. All air-conditioned rooms are renovated. it was a lovely stay where i had a very tiny room - yet i was happy with it becasue staff was exceellent and super helpful and friendly
