Alma Hotel enjoys a quiet location in a 19th-century building just 100 metres from Lake Zurich and near several tram and bus stops. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Our room was spot on - clean, spacious and perfect for what we needed. We loved the location - close to the lake, the centre, the tramline, and with a couple of supermarkets close by. The roof terrace was a great bonus. Breakfasts were delicious and, particulary for the 2 of us who are vegan, offered plenty of choice. We also made use of the self catering facilities, which were great. We loved the extra touches too - free water and apples, welcome icecreams, and free coffee throughout the day. If we do come back to Zurich, without a doubt we will stay at Alma.

Set in a historic building from the 14th century, Boutique Hotel Helmhaus enjoys a central location close to the Grossmünster and Lake Zürich. Friendly people, the personal took our luggage before doing the checking without any hesitation and help us with our flight cancellation, they help us outside they labor

Fantastic location; outstanding staff; beautiful, quite location. I travel a lot and this is the best review I have given to any accommodation. My stay was definitely the highlight of my visit to Zürich.
