This was our first time in Colombia, so we were glad to be able to walk to restaurants and night life. The hotel staff was exceptional - from the bell person to the front desk, the housekeeping staff, the restaurant staff - were all very friendly and welcoming. They suggested excursions we can do to enjoy more of Medellin. We are very appreciative of them. We will definitely stay at this property again. I also liked that this was not a cookie cutter hotel, there are many aspects of the culture of Colombia , captured throughout the property. Also, the bartenders made the best drinks! The hotel helped us with connecting with our driver, Miguel. He was the absolute best! He was punctual, funny, kind, and helped us to explore the city.

El Despertar Hotel is surrounded by mountains and offers a wellness centre. Free WiFi access is also featured. The bright rooms are decorated with light colours and boast a colonial-style decoration. The room was clean, stuff very nice and helpful.

Located in El Poblado, this hotel is 3 km from Medellin’s Olaya Herrera Airport. It has a terrace as well as self-catering accommodation. Free Wi-Fi and free private parking are available. The property is really well maintained and the staff is so nice and profesional and accommodating! Highly recommended and will definitely look to stay here in the future!

I travel between work and leisure at least 14 times per year. This hotel certainly exceeded my expectations and the staff made me feel like home. Kudos to everyone!
