I loved the ambience of the exterior areas: The reception area and courtyard are so welcoming, with all the plants and beautiful details. The decor of the room was extremely comfortable, with luxurious and interesting details. And above all, every member of the staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and accomodating.

Del Mar is located in El Rodadero, just 4 km away from Santa Marta. Free WiFi access is available. The hotel is a 3-minute walk from El Rodadero Beach and from Rodadero Sea Aquarium and Museum. It was very clean, modern rooms and amazing breakfast! This area is the area to come if you want to be surrounded by Colombian and South American tourists. I think I was the only one from another country in Rodadero and because of this you really get a taste of life in the inside. This location was perfect for hopping on the boat to lovely Playa Blanca as well.
